Food Scene

Aimee runs a great little relaxed restaurant with local art on the walls, yummy home cooked food served at tables with bright red checked tablecloths and very friendly helpful staff. The gift shop attached has been converted to a bar too now and the whole place has a great 'French countryside' ambience, there are also some great original gifts for sale. A fun place for coffee/lunch/dinner in relaxed surroundings. There is plenty of room in the car park too, Daymer bay and Grenaway and Polzeath beaches are nearby so its a great place to get away from the crowds nearer the beaches

Sightseeing

Once almost buried in the sands, the chapel stands amid the fairways of St. Enodoc Golf Course. Overshadowed by Brea Hill, and nestling among the sand dunes above Daymer Bay, this charming chapel comes as unexpected find for many visitors. An easy walk along the footpaths between the fairways, sometimes dodging golf balls, other times battling Atlantic gales – a visit to St Enodoc is never straightforward, ever different, and always a delight. The former Poet Laureate, Sir John Betjeman was particularly fond of it and he lies buried in the churchyard. There's no direct access for vehicles. It's about a ten minute walk along footpaths from Daymer Bay car park (paying). Open 7.30am-dusk
