Pinones has some of the best beaches on island. All along route 187 are restaurants and beaches. Some beaches are protected while others are great for surfing.
The drive is very scenic with jungle on one side and beach on the other. It is not well lit when driving at night, and gets crowded during the weekend with food festivals and live music.
