Food Scene
This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. It is a butcher shop and supper club, but has fantastic options for everyone (including vegetarians!). Prices are fantastic for the quality - you're looking at $20ish entrees that will almost certainly provide leftovers, and much cheaper options if you go tapas style or for lunch/brunch!

One of the best food trucks in town! It's also in a food truck park with a great BBQ truck, and the bar next door is lovely to stop in for a drink!

This is an amazing food truck court! T-Loc's is my favorite, and there are also great Venezuelan, Poke and other food trucks!

This is an amazing, but pricey restaurant. The raw fish, oysters etc. are some of the best you'll find anywhere, but they have the best happy hour in town! Their drinks and bar menu become half off, making it way more affordable.

This place is amazing. They have a cool little bar (it's only open on weekend nights, though the rest is always open) with super cheap food and drinks, and so many things to explore. It's also a great place for photos (a model friend of mine did a photo shoot there once!). And it's free to get in!

Getting Around
They're just getting reasonable public transit in Austin, so this doesn't run super late. It's a good way to get to E 6th or downtown for going out (then you can take a rideshare hope - Fasten is my personal preference).
