Hand-feed hummingbirds and marvel at the variety of bird life at the Rocklands Sanctuary on a 2-hour tour from Montego Bay.
The sanctuary is home to thousands of birds from Jamaica and migrant birds who have flown thousands of miles to feed here. The Red-billed Streamertail and Jamaica Mango are so tame that they will come straight to a handheld bottle of sugar water and some will even sit on your finger to feed.
Jamaica has 4 resident species of hummingbird, 3 of which can be found at the Rocklands Sanctuary, but the fourth, the Black-billed Streamertail, is found only on the very eastern part of the island.
Put some seed on your hand to attract the Black-faced Grassquit, Yellow-faced Grassquit, and Orangequit. See the Bananaquit and Greater Antillean Bullfinch hopping around the feeders.
There’s an outdoor patio area where you can sit and watch birds such as the Jamaican Oriole using the feeders. The Common Ground-Dove and Caribbean Dove can be seen around the gardens, looking for the seed provided in the sanctuary.

Pier One
Peir 1 in Montego Bay, Jamaica is long on fun -- literally, as much of it happens on a long, narrow pier jutting into the Caribbean waters. We came here late one night, well after midnight, and found the place alive and throbbing with hundreds of people jammed into the main bar area, though it gets less crowded the farther you go towards the end the pier (where the occasional naughty thing happens in the wee hours). You'll find fresh parrot fish, snapper, lobster, shrimp, and conch at this local dive, and diners can even choose their own seafood to be cooked. The snapper is prepared in foil and steamed with spices, onions, and okra - served with plastic silverware to boot. If you ask to spice it up, they will add some Scotch bonnet peppers (Jamaican Habanero peppers), so be ready for it! Indoor and outdoor seating are available and you can wash it all down with a cold Red Stripe.

Far Out Fish Hut & Beer Joint

Soak up a little culture at Fairfield Theatre, a little theater set just outside of Montego Bay. It is also the only full-equipped theater outside of Kingston, so locals and tourists com from all around to see some of the productions put on by the local theater company.
Offering productions of popular plays and musicals are hosted at Fairfield, along with a variety of workshops to improve drama and vocal performance amongst actors and singers.

Built in 1735, Bellefield has been restored and is now a showcase of 18th-century colonial living and Jamaican culinary history, which makes for an interesting mash-up of historical tourism catering to the traveler-cum-foodie demographic. You’ll get to see the local gardens, meander past an on-site jerk pit, get pleasantly drunk on rum punch, wander the house and then gorge yourself at a delicious lunch buffet. Tours must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. There's a four person minimum.

Sightseeing
Montego Bay Marine Park is a national nature preserve accessible to the public. It's also a snorkeler's paradise.
Bring your own gear or rent from a vendor on the Hip Strip or Doctor's Cave Beach and experience a snorkeling experience of a lifetime as you swim along with a huge variety of tropical fish and coral. Private companies provide glass bottom boat excursions and catamaran rides, allowing you to make the most of this unique marine environment. You could easily spend the better part of day in the marine park and finish up under an umbrella on Doctor's Cove Beach or any of the other white sand beaches stretching eastward.
The park occupies 15.2 acres of legally protected reef, stretching west from Tropical Beach to Rum Bottle Bay, extending to its northern boundary at the 100 meter (328 feet) depth mark. In addition to the underwater flora and fauna, Montego Bay Marine Park is also home to myriad mangrove forests and islands, white sand beaches and river estuaries, providing visitors with near limitless exploration opportunities, as well as plenty of places to soak up some rays.

Comprised of a large supermarket, KFC, a six screen movie theater complex, a large pharmacy/gift store, and a couple of smaller specialty stores. a True Value hardware store, a Chinese restaurant , and a furniture store near the movie complex.
Adjacent to Fairview Shopping center are several insurance companies, a bank, all of the major telecommunication companies, several restaurants including a Wendy’s and Domino’s Pizza, and numerous other miscellaneous stores and businesses.
