Scottish restaurant that has more than a thousand whiskies on the menu. The food is superb, the owners Wullie and Gerie Macmorland are lovely people. Don't expect any veggie options, this is the place for traditional Scottish dishes. And lots of whisky.

Nice art collection and temporary exhibits. The absolute gem however is the exhibition about Alkmaar's war against Spain. Nice interactive displays in multiple languages, very well designed. Fun for kids too.

Newly built grain mill in old style. Organic bread is sold in the bakery (which is also in the mill). In the bakery shop you can buy even more organic products, like cookies. There is also a restaurant with a beautiful terrace.

A beautiful playground, run entirely by volunteers. There is even some nostalgic play equipment that has been very well maintained over the years. The costs are €1.50 per child, free entrance for adults.

Very good cinema, often with splendid Dolby Atmos sound when available. Comfy seats, ticket prices reasonable, but drinks and snacks are quite expensive. Building has a nice, open atmosphere. Recommend.
