Sightseeing
This is a great place to visit while in Wilmington. The fort is full of interesting information. While there, take a swim or walk on the beach at the Fort Fisher State Park. Driving on the beach is allowed on the far end. Or take the ferry to Southport. It's only a 30 minute ride and Southport is a quaint fishing village with shops and restaurants.
