Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The living/dinning room is spacious and bright with magnificent sea views and a cosy wood burning stove, a bathroom and hall. Upstairs, is a double en-suite with stunning sea views over the Firth of Forth and a twin room. A small garden at seaside with seating and a patio to the rear. 20mins drive away from St.Andrews

Mangle Cottage, quirky cottage in Pittenween, Fife

5* quirky 17th century cottage in the heart of Pittenweem. Ama St Andrews, the home of golf is just 17 minutes away by car . Pittenweem boasts the last working fishing harbour in the East Neuk with it's famous 117 mile long coastal path passing right through the village . Dog friendly restaurants , cafes, pubs and art galleries all on our doorstep. Lovely long beaches in St Andrews and Elie only short drive away. The Fife 117 mile long coastal path goes past the bottom of our Wynd .

Beautifully decorated with a open plan lounge diner, well equipped kitchen to enjoy the catch of the day and quality bedding to ensure a blissful sleep. Outside you can catch the morning sun on the bench or enjoy the afternoon sun trap at the back on the bistro set . The coastal path will take you to Ellie in 40 min and Pittenweem in 20min.

Ground floor cosy self catering flat in the beautiful fishing village of St Monans. There is a wood burning stove, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine ,fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven. The bathroom has a deep bath with an over bath shower and to keep your feet cosy under floor heating and a heated towel rail. There is a double bedroom and a sofa bed which sleeps two people in the living room. Bring your four legged friend as we are doggy friendly.

This is my lovely home in the quiet East Neuk village of St Monans. It is on a quiet street on the east edge of the village, with views of the sea and just a minute's walk from the coast path. It is my home first and foremost, so if you are looking for a shiny and new, spotless, white rental home please don't be tempted here! Despite this, for an older house it is clean and airy, full of character and much-loved.
