The cottage is less than two minutes walk from the tidal River Fowey where there is a slipway suitable for launching small watercraft. A level 5 min walk will take you into the town where there are many historic buildings and a variety of independent shops, several pubs, restaurants, cafe's and a co-op. Lostwithiel Railway Station is on the mainline from London to Penzance.

The Burrow is a quirky and snuggly little bolthole. Small, well behaved dogs are welcome. (No large breeds. Maximum cocker spaniel size, PLEASE respect this). Anne-Marie and Steve offer a warm welcome to Polbrean Studio, a cosy, well equipped, self catering studio with stunning views of the River Fowey in the tranquil village of Golant. Our Studio is a large open plan room with pull down double bed, kitchen area with dbl hob, convection oven/microwave, fridge w icebox, and shower wet room. There is a mezzanine with additional double bed accessed via paddle stairs. Outside is a seating area where you can enjoy the stunning surroundings and views.

Snuggling in a wooded corner of our paddock the cabin is a lovely secluded escape for two. In one of the quietest parts of Cornwall with complete privacy you will hear the hoots of owls and chorus of birdlife, and with no light pollution the night skies are magnificent. The coast is nearby, with the Fowey estuary just down the road, and glorious beaches and coastal footpath a short drive away. Spacious countryside Carpenters Cottage near coast

Our self catering detached cottage is available all year round. A spacious ground floor cottage with views over the garden, it's own parking (with an outside electric socket) and patio area. Between Fowey & Lostwithiel in South East Cornwall. We have one super king size bed. We accept 2 medium sized dogs, by arrangement. The large garden is not fully fenced, we have a mixture of water, hedges and fences as our 3 acre boundary. The patio is completely fenced.
