Calling all City Slickers ! Come live a life of horseback riding, tractor driving , egg collecting..you can do all the farm chores and we'll just sit back and relax! (kidding) You should be a dog & cat lover! This is an active, non-profit rescue and adoption center. The dogs are in kennels, but have liberty at times each day and they love people! Depending on traffic, we are 47 mile drive to Yosemite National Park along the scenic Merced River. Mariposa is a quaint little Gold Rush Town about 20 minutes away. The main part of town is literally 2 blocks long. There is no stoplight in the whole county. Mariposa was the 'Mother of all Counties' once extending all the way to Los Angeles.
