Boat of Garten is a beautiful village situated in the Spey Valley. It is an ideal base for many sporting and nature activities in summer and winter. There is even a steam train that runs past the bottom of the garden. The village has a grocery store, cafe, hotel and a restaurant. Our bungalow has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. There is a well equipped kitchen/dining room and a lounge with a beautiful view. We also have a utility room which is great for drying wet gear and storing wellies!

A two bed bungalow, sleeps 4, a welcome home away from home. Situated within the lovely town of Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The property has an enclosed private garden and a shared driveway for 2 cars. Aviemore town and shops are a 10 min stroll down a lovely quiet lane, banked by views of the mountains and the Strathspey Steam Railway. The railway runs close to the bottom of the garden and is perfect for children (and adults !) to wave at the driver. One dog welcome

Situated on a working farm a mile from the town of Selkirk makes Highfield an ideal base to explore. Highfield commands an elevated position giving panoramic views of Selkirk and the surrounding hills. Situated on The Borders Abbey Way there is easy access to excellent walking and cycling routes. For the more adventurous we are a short drive to great mountain biking routes at Innerleithen and Peebles. Melrose & Tweedbank railway station is a 10 min drive, Edinburgh is just under an hour away.

This lovely detached cottage is based on the edge of Kiltarlity on the family Croft (small farm) and without a doubt is a superb base for exploring the many attractions and activities this area has to offer. Lying on the 60 mile long Caledonian Canal, halfway between Inverness and Fort William, Fort Augustus offers spectacular views down Loch Ness and is a paradise for keen walkers and cyclists with many beautiful walks around the area, the most popular being the Great Glen Way. RIVENDELL COTTAGE is semi-detached with the owner's property and has been lovingly modernised. It is now a luxury two-bedroomed self-contained ground floor apartment – a 3 minute drive from the centre of Fort Augustus.

The Poplars, Cawdor Road, NAIRN, Highland Region

The Poplars is a detached, fully equipped bungalow, set well back from the quiet B9090 road from Nairn to Cawdor. It looks out on to a front garden and farmland beyond that. There are three bedrooms, one en suite. The ensuite room has two single beds, but can be configured as a superking "zip and link" bed if required. The house can sleep 5 or 6 - but remember that one is a double bed! It may be possible to provide a child's cot - but please ask first. Privacy, with plenty parking space.

Birch Cottage is an ideal place for exploring the beautiful Western Highlands of Scotland. Situated in a spectacular elevated location overlooking Loch Linnhe with a mountain backdrop, the local area offers pebble beaches at Cuil Bay, access to the Fort William-Oban cycle track, stunning hikes, climbing and a range of outdoor activities. Ben Nevis is just a 20 mile drive from the house via Fort William. Oban Ferry terminal, a 30 mile drive south, offers year round access to the Hebrides.

Springwell is situated in Carrick Castle village which is approximately five miles from the village of Lochgoilhead. Stunning walks! Fabulous views!
