Relax and unwind in front of the open fire.For the sightseers it’s only a 30 minute drive into the centre of Edinburgh.

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Foulbog is a charming traditional shepherds cottage set on a working hill farm in rural Dumfriesshire. In a very remote location surrounded by rolling hills, with spectacular views down the valley. Characterful self-contained accommodation offering two bedrooms and two shower rooms in a pretty 17th century cottage. Master bedroom featuring a superking zip-link double bed (can also be a twin) and en-suite shower room. Second bedroom with a king size double bed and private shower room. You will also have your own comfortable lounge with wood burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and laundry facilities.

Garden Cottage is a Grade B listed cottage, stone built around 200 years ago, with views over the restored Victorian glasshouse and orchards at the bottom of our gardens. The beamed bedrooms upstairs complement a spacious and light ground floor that has access to private front and back gardens, with sitting out paved areas in each. The cottage is fully furnished and is in a quiet and out of way location, surrounded by fields and woodlands.
