Auchterawe House is a perfect place for walkers, hikers, cyclists and keen fishers. Auchterawe House is set in the woods of Auchterawe Forest. Take a cruise to see Nessie the Loch Ness Monster or stop off at the Caledonian Canal Centre in Fort Augustus. In Fort Augustus there are several pubs and restaurants to choose from.
Briar Barn is a self contained, converted barn which sits next to Auchterawe House. It is a warm and cosy affair with heaps of rustic features including exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings and a log burning stove. Netherwood Cottage is a well-equipped, 2 bedrooms, spacious self-catering Victorian property for 4/5 people (Cot for a 5th person on request at no extra cost) offering a comfortable Highland retreat. Centrally located in the Great Glen ideal for exploring the Highlands. Loch Ness boat trip, Fort Augustus, Bridge of Oich, Urqhuart castle, and the Caledonian Canal (excellent for cycling) are all within a short drive. To the rear is a garden with patio, table, barbeque and forested hill above.
The Shed House is situated in the fields just outside the village of Fort Augustus. It was built with the timber from local trees about twelve years ago, and has beautiful views of the surrounding hills. It is ideal for a family or two couples as as well as en-suite bathrooms there are two separate living rooms and an additional kitchenette. We are a fifteen-minute walk from the centre of the village, but in a secluded half-wild garden, down by the old mill-stream. (More pictures soon!)

HOMEFIELD is home to Heidi, Nigel and their very friendly German Shepherd, Dorley and is located in the picturesque village of Fort Augustus in the Scottish Highlands. Homefield is a bungalow that has a completely private, self contained flat within it. The newly renovated flat has a bright, retro feel to it and comprises of 1 bedroom, living room, small kitchen and bathroom. There is no oven/hob, but we provide a microwave, toaster & kettle, and there are many pubs serving food in the village.
The Field House sits on the edge of a hayfield just outside Fort Augustus. It is a warm and intimate space, with a living and dining area with spectacular views of the fields and hills, an ensuite shower room, a galley kitchen and two single beds in the loft. The decking is frequented by game birds, hares and owls, and highland cattle graze in the neighbouring field. Fort Augustus and Loch Ness are a short walk away, and the house is perfectly located for exploring the highlands further afield.
The Old Convent was built in 1842 originally as a church, St.Peters chapel. Converted to a convent in 1891 and known as St.Scholastica's Priory until 1922. We have lovingly renovated the building keeping a lot of original features but adding modern touches such as central heating and double glazing!
