This hike-in, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Welcome to The Riverside Oasis Cottage! Our family and couple friendly waterfront cottage is fully equipped with a kitchen and a 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The gently sloping yard and waterfront is very family friendly for swimming. We are pleased to offer 2 kayaks and a canoe with lifejackets to explore and enjoy the Ottawa River including numerous islands with beaches and our local bald eagle's nest. Pembroke is 20 minutes away with many activities and hiking trails.

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
