Stay in a living ghost town! The Bread House is one of the original houses in Silver Plume, dating back to the 1880s. Recently remodeled, it's been brought back to life and we'd love to share it with you. The Bread House is a quiet, two-story house with plenty of space to spread out. It's a perfect respite after a day of skiing, hiking, rafting, or fishing, or just for a cozy getaway. We're located right off I-70 next to Georgetown, about 45 min from Denver, and 10 min to Loveland Ski Area.

We thoughtfully remodeled the space to create a serene and elevated atmosphere. The cabin is a 5 min walk to the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead and a 25 min drive to downtown Idaho Springs. It's remote and quiet, but accessible year-round: 2 hours from DIA, 1.5 hours from downtown Denver, and 50-mins from Breckenridge. Large kitchen (w/ fridge and antique stove), barnwood accents, huge 400sf deck, and historic decor from Como's gold rush. Dogs welcome, too.
