The house inspiration, in terms of décor and architectural features, as a tribute to the mourish roots of silves, were the Morocco riads, with their particular vegetation, pools, patios and different corners and details. You will be suprised!

Old house completely renovated in 2019.Located in the historic center of Silves against the ramparts. 45 minutes from Faro airport. 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Algarve. Ideally located for visiting the region as well as the hinterland. A key box allows you to arrive at the time of your choice. You park in the surrounding streets in the meadow of the house. You will find a guide online and on site to make your stay as easy as possible. Medieval festival in August.

Located near the historical town Silves, in a area with beautiful nature surrounding it. It has a NATURAL SWIMMING POOL, swim and relax in the clean swimming area while watching hovering dragonflies, butterflies and all the magic of a natural swimming pool. In 2015 the house was completely renovated with an extension built using straw bales that keeps the house cool in the summer an warm in the winter. Set high on the hill in the historic town of Silves, just down the road from the Gothic Cathedral & Castle, is The Townhouse, a peaceful sanctuary from which to explore the town and surrounding area. The house looks out over the terracotta rooftops of the town that clings to the hillside, its cobbled streets tumbling down to the river valley. Street Parking is available close tot he house. This unique place has a style all its own.
