Our modern earth home is a cozy, craftsman-built nest that treats its visitors to light, open space & color. It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Taos Earthship: Modern + Mesa

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

This listing is for the private west side of Mother Earthship. The attached east-side casita, Raven’s Lair, is rented separately; both sides are private with only the driveway shared. Farmhouse Casita in scenic Llano San Juan 10 minutes off the High Road to Taos. Full kitchen and bath with washer dryer. Private fenced yard with garden, patio table and lounge chair. Fire pit with wood. Spectacular mountain views and 10 farm acres to roam. Pets are OK but only small dogs inside. (kennel and/or fenced yard available for bigger dogs or ones that shed profusely). Designated parking space and room for RVs. High speed Wifi is available.

Comfort in the woods “Los Vallecitos LLC”

This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. Grandma's Ol' House-10 Minutes Away From Sipapu

Grandmas Ol'House is a cozy little house next to the main highway, and 10 miles from the Sipapu Ski Loge. There is also great places to go tubbing, hiking, and bike riding. There are a couple of grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations for your convenience. If you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway, then this is a great place to stay!
