Enjoy the exclusive use of The Laithes Cottages with a 3-bed and a 2-bed cottage set in a private courtyard with gardens. The cottages can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults sharing and 2 kids. Cottage 1 benefits from 2 king size bedrooms, a kid’s bunk room, beautiful sitting room, kitchen and utility. Cottage 2 enjoys a super-king bedroom and small double bedroom with sitting/diner, record player and galley kitchen. Both cottages share a courtyard and a garden with sweeping countryside views.

The Paddock, Ullswater

The Paddock is a detached cottage located in the heart of the National Park. The property sits in the Ullswater valley in the village of Watermillock and boasts views of the lake from its private balcony. It has a spacious garden equipped with a tyre swing and a driveway to accommodate a number of vehicles. You can walk to local pubs, the lake, the local camp shop, Pooley Bridge and Aira Force. In the evenings, dine in our open plan kitchen diner and then relax on the balcony or in the lounge.

Upstairs, there is an open-plan kitchen and living area with a wood-burning stove, overlooking surrounding fields. An outdoor balcony provides a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. The property also offers a wood-fired sauna with indoor hot and cold showers, which can be booked separately. An on-site café and coffee shop are just a short walk away. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!
