Nestled at the foot of Whitehorse mountain in the midst of the North Cascades, a Shepherd’s Retreat is a working sheep farm. The farm is one of the few historic homestead farms in Snohomish County. Located within the North Cascades there is great hiking amazing views within a half hour drive. The town of Darrington is 5 miles away with restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery. The farmhouse has been recently updated and restored to allow guests maximum comfort, but able to live close to the land.

Perched high on a granite ledge, you will find this cabin overlooking a rushing river that weaves its way through the dense, lush forest of the North Cascade mountains. The Historic 1889 Walton House in Snohomish, Washington was brought back to life in 2016/2017 by Snohomish Vacation Rentals. This home offers a charming front porch, large windows that afford plenty of natural light, and many original details that will make your stay a memorable experience. The Walton House has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and sleeps up to six guests. The large kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals. If you are looking to party, this is NOT the place.

Access to the river is a short 3 block walk, where walking trails are plenty. You will find yourself a couple of minutes from either downtown Everett, or downtown Snohomish. Take in the many cute eateries, and antique shops, and water front views that both of these cities have to offer!
