The Bothy cottage in the Cotswolds

The Bothy is a conversion of a 17th Century Cotswold stone stable and a 20th Century kennel building. On the ground floor is the living room with a beautiful wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable double bedroom and a modern shower room. Whilst upstairs, which is accessed from a narrow oak staircase, you can find the twin bedroom. The living room has been fitted to retain all its original features and is furnished in period style. I have included many Georgian and Victorian pieces and have also included a large settee and two arm chairs, dining table and chairs for 4, corner cupboard and a dash of the 21st Century with a Sky television. The Bothy is beautifully situated in the Postlip Coombe on the leeward side of the Cotswolds highest hill and yet only minutes from Winchcombe, a classic Cotswold "wool" town, renowned for its excellent shops, restaurants and architecture.

Beautiful Cotswold Cottage with stunning views

I have recently renovated my beautiful Cotswold cottage, taking inspiration from rustic French farmhouses and Moroccan riads, and filling it with eclectic old pieces of furniture and art I have picked up on my travels. I grew up in the village and now live half the time there and half the time in London, so I can give lots of tips for places to visit, eat and explore. The cottage can sleep up to 6 people, and is managed by my friend Kate from Stay Country who will liaise with you if you book.

No.2 is a light and spacious Cottage with a large extended and fully-equipped kitchen. The living room is cosy and comfortable with its old fireplace and period lead windows. Church Steps is a cosy thatched cottage in the pretty Cotswold village of Ebrington. A light and airy cottage with an abundance of character and a lovely private south facing garden for alfresco eating. The cottage has been recently renovated and is very well equipped.
