Just in earshot of the apple orchard where you can satisfy your taste buds with a crisp fresh apple, apple cider slushy, or fried apple pie. Although rural this home is only 4 miles from interstate 40! Approx an hour from Asheville and Charlotte.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Historic 1880 Farmhouse with Modern Southern Charm

Discover the charm of this spacious, historic farmhouse perfect for your next family getaway. Maintaining its original character from 1880, this 2368 sq. ft. home has been restored and updated with modern comforts and amenities. You will have access to a fully furnished kitchen and get to experience some treasures of old, such as an antique cook stove. Also there are handmade quilts throughout the house that were made by the Price family women over the past century along with other antiques.

Enjoy your peaceful mountain escape on our 33 acres. We have over a half mile of hatchery supported trout streams to fish (with a stocking point on the property), swimming holes, and private trails located directly on the property. Or with just a 2 minute drive up the road you can be in the South Mountains state park to take some local hikes to some awesome places like the watershed lake. Visit the restored homestead on a guided tour where the hosts will tell you of the restoration project, ongoing. The farm produces award winning sorghum syrup and stone-ground cornmeal and grits.
