Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Budhyn Yurt is 5.8m in diameter and 3m high in the centre. It has a super king-sized bed and two single beds with a Nordpeis Orion stove in the centre. White linen with two pillows, hand towel and fluffy bath sheet per person. Complementary super fast broadband Wi-Fi. It has its own kitchen with a fridge/ice box, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, two-ring induction hob ,table and chairs, two USB charging points and a Webber BBQ. The area is known as "Cordell Country" after the author Alexander Cordell, who has written best selling historical novels about the surrounding area and it's natural beauty combined with its former industrial heritage.
