Rust en Vrede means rest and peace in Afrikaans which describes the experience of staying in these these two stone cottages. They are 20m apart and are ONLY offered as a pair, and have exclusive use of a rock pool. Each cottage has two 3/4 beds, bathroom, kitchenette and patio. The pair of cottages accommodate a MAX of 4 people in TOTAL in a private setting, with expansive views. These new cottages are in the same format as the other four on the farm which have received hundreds of 5* reviews.

The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Oasis

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce , excellent massage, delicious pizza, stargazing and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.
