Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Only 5 miles from the Denver exit of the PA turnpike. 40 minutes from Hershey Park, 20 minutes from Sight and Sound and All major Amish Country attractions and 10 minutes from Antique shopping in Adamstown. We are located right in the center of all the things you come to Lancaster County to see. Close to it all yet back in the woods for some peace and quiet when you’re done for the day.

Sunnybank Farm

We welcome you to our little farm! Come enjoy a peaceful getaway out in the country, yet close enough to town to enjoy the best of both worlds. Appreciate the charm of a 19th century farmhouse with large windowsills, good old stone work, and unique features. Get a taste of the farm life through meeting the sheep, goats, horses, chickens and 3 dogs who roam freely outside. Phoebe is our golden doodle, Obi, is our white Standard poodle, and Riley, is our big ole Bernise Mountain dog.

You have full access to tranquil lower level of home. Private access and parking. minutes to route 272, 222 and 322. Private cul-de-sac in quiet town of Akron. Walk or ride your bike 1 block and your on the beautiful scenic RAIL-TRAIL with easy access to Ephrata, Akron and Lititz! FYI -If you are bringing your pet, the fee is $5 per night for extra cleaning .We love longer stays and offer a 5% discount for 7 days and 10% for 30 days! Come relax and enjoy the view!

Our Conestoga wagon is tucked in a campsite along the woods at the Dutch Cousin Campground located near Denver, Pennsylvania. The triple-layer waterproof “bonnet” provides a year-round climate-controlled (with heat & a/c) environment.

This cozy little cabin is nestled under the tall trees in the Dutch Cousin Campground. Enjoy a relaxing evening around the firepit listening to all the sounds nature has to offer. Tucked into the woods of the Texter Mountain, our little home is a custom built modern getaway. Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat.
