Cabin with camping sites & firepit included! Our 10x10' cabin is nestled a 1/2 km into the forest on 260 beautiful acres. Experience off-grid life with just enough amenities to be comfortable. Grill food at the fire pit, hike, or cozy up to the woodstove and watch the wildlife wander by. A booking is for the whole location, and you decide who gets the cabin (sleeps 2) and who brings the tents. A 2nd 'bunk' cabin, for an additional fee, is always available for your extra guests. This 200 year old log homestead is on the same property as the owners home. Max of four guests, children under 16 (max 2) stay free, no pets, and delight in the comforts of 1 queen & 1 double bed, hot water, shower, internet. Kitchen has microwave, 2 burner stove top, air fryer. Surrounded by 600 acres of bush and fields with 100s of lakes easily within reach. Enjoy a wonderful bonfire at night. [loft staircase may not be suitable for young children & physically compromised people.]

This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river and boasts a very well appointed kitchen, sauna and hot tub. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! A true spa-like feel.
