Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Studio 8 is a private studio with a stunning view of the apricot sand beaches and lagoon of beautiful Cable Bay. Relax and unwind while you take in the view of the sea all the way across the bay to the KariKari Peninsula. Come and relax in our private studio, suitable for 1 person or for a couple. There are more than 13 eateries all within 5 minutes drive away. A private walkway down to the beach. Plus the best Ice Cream shop within walking distance! Perfect location to explore the Far North.

Fully fenced, down a quiet cul de sac in Whatuwhiwhi, overlooking Perehipe Bay, on the beautiful Karikari Peninsula. A few minutes walk in gorgeous native bush to a lovely safe swimming beach. Or drive right to beach. Perfect calm bay for swimming and paddleboarding etc. Launch the boat off the beach ramp, spend the day fishing in Doubtless Bay or go out wide for game fish or off the rocks at the beach.

Enjoy the comfort and luxury of the Loft, 3km north of Pukenui village. Watch the moonrise from the cape cod chairs on the deck while you enjoy a wine or beer . The newly built loft has everything you need to make your stay special, from the super king sized bed, fully equipped kitchen, Stressless recliners and beautifully tiled bathroom. It has elevated views of the Houhora Harbour and is situated to give privacy from our residence There's space to park the boat and fish filleting facilities.

Within a few minutes you could be casting your rod out on the iconic West Coast at 90 Mile Beach or taking a dip in Houhora harbour on the East side, our part of the country is that narrow! It's an easy drive north to Cape Reinga with a host of stunning beaches along the way. Relax, unwind or explore.

Houhora Harbour Studio

Enjoy your own piece of Houhora in our modern comfortable studio overlooking the Houhora harbour. We are just a stones throw from the wharf so you can cook your own catch in our kitchen with a view. Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Tropical Retreat

Come enjoy our one bedroom, 4 bed retreat. Relax with your morning coffee in the sun with a view of our beautiful palms. Fully self contained with one bedroom with a queen bed and three singles in the common area. A fully equipped kitchen with all you would need to cook a lovely meal. Sky tv and wifi available and plenty of room to park a boat. A perfect spot for a holiday or a one night stop!

Waterfront historic Bakery cottage

Located on the shores of the tranquil Mangonui harbour with Doubtless Bay beaches very close by. She (the cottage) is cute and eclectic with spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view and location. Its a short walk to Mangonui village shops and cafes. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property is private, furnished and with a Weber BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.
