At Paneolio they probably serve the best al taglio pizza outside of Italy! At least the best in Nice. AND it's cheap! The staff is super attentive and friendly, and if your French is rusty, you can order in Italian. Share a couple of squares under the olive tree on the patio overlooking the Promenade du Paillon, and you're in an Italian food heaven.

Nice cocktail bar, next to the tram. From 6.00 to 7.30 food is free if you buy at least 1 drink. Great for pre-drinks!
