15 minute drive across the bridge. Several short and easy trails with lush vegetation. Great for kids. Good chance to see alligators, birds, snakes etc.

Only a short trip to see the iconic south Louisiana marsh and swamp lands. Hiking trails are great for viewing wildlife.

Free national park with a beautiful walking trail through the swamp. We always see alligators, snakes, turtles and more! So beautiful and only about 25 minutes away.

a little far our from the city, but worth the trip to see the swamp. nice, easy flat trails with plenty of gators in spring and summer. Also good for canoeing. Swamp tours are close by.
