Historical Shot Tower, c.1870, which you can climb to the top of and get a devonshire tea downstairs. A nice, quieter spot which you can get a bus down Sandy Bay Rd to or drive around the river on the way to Kingston.

Historic stone tower built for manufacturing lead shot. You can climb to the top for great views over the Derwent and coast. Entry fee applies. Also has a gift shop, and a cafe serving Devonshire teas, either indoors or outside in the garden.
