City Gallery presents an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events focusing on contemporary visual arts, architecture and design. It's just a couple of minutes walk from City Bach. You can drop into City Gallery for a few minutes or linger as long as you like. If you're feeling peckish slip through the internal door to the gorgeous Nikau Cafe.

Great staff who are really helpful explaining the exhibition so you make the most of your visit. Great exhibition and knowledgeable staff make this a great time out.

Wellington's main art gallery - always good exhibitions, some free, and some a small cost; and a great cafe attached. It's smack bang in the centre of town, beside the main library and the tourist info centre, so easy to get to.
