This is the local cooperative winery for the Jalon Valley, they are open almost everyday for tours and wine tasting, well worth a visit and pick up your 5ltr jug, or a bottle of the local speciality mistela.

A cooperative society formed approximately fifty years ago, and started thanks to the efforts of a small group of farmers and wine producers that got together in the early sixties. Nowadays there are four hundred partners who cultivate close to 400 hectares (989.400 acres) and make some of the areas award winning wines. Plenty to taste and buy!

Lovely place to buy the local wine, honey, olive oil and a few more bits. The wine is fantastic, I believe made as part of a cooperative with the local farmers in the area. Plenty of opportunity to try before you buy, and you'll want to buy some - plenty of locals coming in to fill their containers from the big vats! A must visit when visiting Jalo ( together with L'Era restaurant:))

The bodega is in Jalon for local wine, vineyards around Jalon, offers local plonk cheap, olive oil and other delightful local produce.
