Point Defiance is just a short trip over the Narrow's Bridge to Tacoma. It's a beautiful park to visit with Owen's Beach, 5-mile drive, Fort Nisqually, walking and bicycling trails as well as many picnic areas. Plus our zoo! metroparkstacoma.org

This is great for kids. There’s also a beautiful Japanese gardens on the outside
