Delicious diner food and friendly staff. If you want the non-touristy local eatery vibe of Kodiak, this is the place. Eggs benedict (affectionately referred to as "eggs benny" by locals) is a must on the weekend.

King's Diner has got to be one of Kodiak's oldest food establishments and the only place in town to grab breakfast. While I wouldn't personally recommend them it is a favorite for a lot of the old-time fishermen and a place where they often congregate. Looking for a hot tip on where the fish are? You might just find it here!

Having grown up in Kodiak, Kings was always a staple in my family. Best place in town for breakfast in my opinion. Classic diner food, with an alaskan twist to it. Definitely recommend the reindeer sausage. On the spendy side, but worth it to try at-least once! A bonus, you can often see planes taking off from the lake or run way right next door!
