70 years ago, Porto Santa Maria was founded in the simplicity and true meaning of sustainability, offering the best that the Guincho Coast would bring in one's home: sea bass, golden bream, lobster, crayfish, and the much missed and unique Cascais Norway lobster that made and make gourmet delights.Man lives not by fish alone, and the saloia (peasants from the Lisbon region) influence in this bay is welcome: the Mafra bread baked in wood stoves, the thriving vegetables, the rustic fruits bursting with rural flavours, and the Colares wine so unmatched in its growth and production. Great dinning experience with a breathtaking view.

One of the finest restaurants in Portugal. In Guincho, up on a hill by the sea. Fantastic view.
