This is a small not for profit Aquarium who aims to provide all ages with a hands on educational experience around New Zealand's marine life. Take the school!

A great place to visit on a Sunday...especially around 11am where you'll meet the famous Octopus who can take the lid off any jar...especially when hungry.

A fantastic aquarium in an old boathouse on the rocks. Targeted at kids they can get hands-on, elbow deep into tabletop tanks with starfish and other seabed denizens. Their Octupus feeding time talk is brilliant. Cheap and terrific fun for the kids.
