a beautiful area filled with walks and sunny beaches, loads of flat grass to play on also. We go here a lot for large family gatherings, we spend the day under the trees with a picnic.
Shakespear Regional Park is a nature park in the Auckland Region of New Zealand. It is located at the tip of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, and is named after the Shakespear family which bought the land in the 1880s from local Maori. Just a short drive or 30 min walk to the beautiful regional park, with waterfalls, walking tracks and coastal lookouts. Home to native kiwis and fantastic snorkelling beaches.
Shakespear regional park located at the end of the Whangaparaoa peninsula offers great beaches (Te Haruhi bay is our favourite), great views over the hauraki gulf and many beautiful walks, long and short.
