This is a public golf course where you can expect to be playing with elk every now and then.

Cree Meadows is a public golf course very reasonably priced. Besides golf they also have a great restaurant. I recommend the Friday night all you can eat catfish and the Saturday Steak Night. The steaks are cooked by the chef that used to work at the Texas Club. But the Texas Club the steak dinner would cost twice as much as Cree Meadows. Live Band and Dancing on the weekends. $$$

301 Country Club Dr Open to the public, with low daily fee rates. It is both demanding & scenic with narrow tree lined fairways and gently sloped greens. The many mature pines and several holes featuring water in play, are only a few of the noteworthy features found on this course. The terrain is easy to walk. Be forewarned that playing conditions are most always challenging for all skill levels.

Nice public course that isn't too difficult to play or book. The clubhouse offers a decent meal either before or afterwards. Steak night is Wednesday with local entertainment.
