Love the outdoors? This is the place to explore. Check the website for the lighthouse opening days, it varies by season.

A beautiful national park about a 1 hr. (but gorgeous) drive. Lots of hiking, beaches, views, seashore and wildlife. You are guaranteed to love it. Pt. Reyes Station is a small town worth visiting for the local bakery and bookstore. Stocking up on picnic supplies or stopping in for lunch or dinner after a hike makes for a long but wonderful day in nature.

So many hikes to choose it could keep you busy for weeks. Favorites include the Tule Elk at Tomales Point and the lighthouse.
