William Seward was the Secretary of State under Abraham Lincoln and the person responsible for the purchase of Alaska. An abolitionist, statesman and community leader, his home is one of the greatest living museums in the world with all contents belonging to and as it was when the Seward family lived here in the late 1800s.

The passionate team can provide you with an unforgettable tour. Check the hours before you go. They are closed for the month of January.
