Popular park 30 feet above street level on an old rail line, with river & city views. Connects The Whitney Museum at the south end with Hudson Yards at the north end. Lots of stunning architectural sights, great native-inspired landscaping, and a number of outlooks and access points to stop, play, or explore the neighborhoods below. During the warmer months, especially on weekends, you'll find food and ice cream vendors right on the highline. It can get pretty crowded on weekends, but it's always a spectacular outing.

One of the most popular parks in NYC with locals and visitors! This unique park is a 1.45-mile-long (2.33 km) elevated greenway created on an abandoned rail line. It was inspired by a similar park in Paris and redesigned as a "living system" incorporating designs from landscape architecture, urban design, and ecology. The park features native plants which were growing wild on the tracks before it was developed. It offers views of the city and the Hudson River. The High Line also offers temporary art installations and performances. Go any time of day during the week but on summer weekends you will have to schedule your entrance ahead of time (it is free).
