Shop and lunch in Malibu for a change of pace from the city. Beautiful coastal drive along the way. Several boutiques and restaurants, or just sit in the square and watch the people. Good celebrity sighting place, especially at the Whole Food Market there.

The Country Mart has a slew of stores but is often quite crowded on the weekends. If shopping is your thing, I think you'll enjoy this location.
