Make sure you hike, snowmobile, ski or snowshoe out to the Wine Hut. Located between Midway (wood lift) and North Pole, stop in while skiing. Or follow the snowshoe trail right to the Wine Hut! It is located on Weber Lake and has a deck all the way around it.

Whitecap Resort is closed summer of 2022. Lots of terrain variety. Visit the iconic Wine Hut. Try their golf and disc golf courses in the summer time. Rent a golf cart and tour the mountain.

Restaurant in the hotel has a great fish fry and is convenient for when you’re not looking to leave the resort.

Whitecap Mountains Resort in Upson, Wisconsin is 17 miles from Our Finnish Farmhouse. Approximately a 30 minute drive.
