The Museum and the Art Gallery can be found in the beautifully maintained gardens of Pannett Park in the centre of Whitby. The extensive Museum Collections comprise items and artefacts of local and national interest donated over the past 200 years, a lot of which are on permanent display. The Museum also has a tea shop where refreshments can be had.

Great museum for all ages. Fantastic fossil collection and exhibitions of 'ships in bottles' and lifeboat tragedies.

Really is an amazing place full of interesting artefacts, art and oddities from the area. There is a cafe beneath it and it's set in the grounds of Pannet Park.
