The Affenberg Salem is an animal park west of Salem in the Lake Constance district and at the same time Germany's largest monkey homesteenation. The main attraction of the more than 20 hectare forest is 200 Berber monkeys, which move freely there and can be fed by visitors with specially prepared popcorn.

This is highly recommended! Please check the information online for dates and times because this is only open in the middle of Spring through the early fall. You can walk around a large wooded area and feed popcorn to the monkeys. No cages, just free range monkeys living in their own habitat. There is also a beautiful nature reserve park with different wildlife and worth going to see. Fun for adults and children, not expensive, we would highly recommend going here for everyone! Not far from the guest house, ca. 15 minute drive.
