The Winchester Mystery House is an architectural wonder and historic landmark in San Jose, CA. It was once the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, the widow of firearms magnate William Winchester. She was haunted by ghosts of people killed by her family's guns and felt that the ghosts only appeased if she kept building, so that's what she did. The result was a house like no other that was a complete mystery. If you have time for the 45 minute drive, you may want to check it out.

Haunted by the spirits of Winchester rifle victims, Mrs. Winchester built the Victorian mansion with many odd and mysterious features. Open to the public since 1923, the Winchester Mystery House offers daily guided tours of the massive 160-room Victorian mansion."
