This 1.2mi trail descends through a stunted oak and pine forest into a mature woodland, leads to a boardwalk that winds through the picturesque Atlantic White Cedar Swamp, and returns via the historic “Wireless Road” (a sand road) to the starting location.

Check out the location of the first transatlantic wireless transmission from the bluffs of the outer cape. Across the parking lot you will find the trailhead to the red cedar swamp. Easy hike through a magical forest trail in a cedar swamp. I recommend bringing a bottle of wine from the Truro winery to enjoy on a little picnic.
