Food Scene

If you are walking around the city with some friends on a sunny day in Brussels, do not forget to pass by this little place located on the Place Sainte Catherine. The wine is good and the seafoods are amazing. It is more a tapas kind of place where you enjoy your bites while sipping your glass of wine outside.

Como Como is cool. It’s always full, even on a Tuesday night after the christmas holidays, when no one is supposed to have money to spend on a restaurant anymore. The principle is pretty easy, pinxos (tapas, for you and me) moving around on a treadmill, like sushis. You check, you lift up the plastic lid, and if it looks good enough to you, you eat it.

The coolest bar in all of Belgium, this classic near the Bourse has to be seen to be believed. Ring a bell on the street and you enter a steel bubble swing door like entering a bank. This spins you out into an art deco room with high ceilings, half-moon balcony, pillars to the roof, a piano in the middle and tiny corner bar. Your fellow drinkers are architects, intellectuals and artistic beauties and the bar-staff know their music as well as their martinis.
