Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Quiet, cute relaxing getaway at the beautiful Urenui. Situated in the village with a two-minute walk to the river and 15 minute walk to the main beach. The property backs onto a native nature reserve, songs from the native birds are heard all year round. Situated next to the main house where my husband and I live with our 2 children.
