Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Cozy apartment, great location and free parking

In this place you can stay close to everything. The location is central and has free parking for two cars. The apartment has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. There is the possibility of extra bed and Travel cot for toddlers. Spacious bathroom with shower and a full kitchen. 15 min. walk to city center 7 min. walk to Telegrafbukta Good bus connections. The apartment was newly renovated in January 2022. We live in the rest of the house ourselves, so parties are not allowed.

Den består av et soverom (seng 140x200), bad med dusj og vaskemaskin, enkelt kjøkken og en liten stue med tv, sofa og spiseplass. Passer godt til 1-2 personer. Det er gode bussforbindelser i umiddelbar nærhet.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

In Tromsø you can experience the northern lights from late August to mid-April. To see the northern lights, it must be dark. All inclusive. towel etc. Fresh, cold drinking water from the tap. 1 min to bus stop. 5 min bus to the city centre. 15 minute walk to the city centre. This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available.
