Perfectly located to explore the beautiful countryside of Montgomeryshire & the Shropshire borders, equally well placed as a midway base to head South for the fantastic Pembrokshire coastline; North to the rugged scenery of Snowdonia; or west with more stunning coastline, nature reserves & medieval structures less than an hour away.

The Old Barn, Lower Luggy

Lower Luggy Barn offers a unique space to spend a relaxing weekend in the unspoilt and largely undiscovered countryside of Mid Wales. It boasts a wealth of opportunities from Walking, Cycling, Castles, Canals, Shooting & Fishing, Sailing and Fine Dining. We are within an hour of both Snowdonia National Park with all it has to offer, and the Beautiful Welsh Coastline. The Barn is comfortable, self-contained and accommodates 6 people, an ideal place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

Beautiful well equipped annex attached to the owner's house in the lovely rural village of Castle Caereinion near Welshpool. The village has a pub, church and a small playground. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and anyone wanting some relaxation. It is local to many places of interest and about an hour from the coast. The upstairs living room can be accessed by stairlift and boasts uninterrupted views of the Welsh countryside.The owners are usually on site should you require anything.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sitting comfortably, in the wild meadow, above Upper Rectory is our delightful shepherd’s hut, well equipped for your arrival - idyllically located overlooking tranquil pastures and woodland, it, provides a cosy romantic and welcoming retreat, with a traditional wood burner to warm up the evenings. Ideal for walking and cycling, nearby nature reserve is home to 170 species of birds. Please note that WiFi is at best sporadic due to the rural location.
