We do provide a single portable cooktop, suitable for preparing a simple dish. There is a combi oven/microwave. More important: a lot of nice bars, lunchrooms & restaurants closeby!

The apartment is an enjoyable 10 minute cycle to the centre of the Hague or if you prefer, there are 3 tram lines minutes away to connect you to the wider city. There are 2 large supermarkets, a Thai and Indonesian restaurant, 2 cafes, local shops and a lovely park within minutes of the front door.

There is a tram stop right outside the door that takes you to The Hague Central Station in 11 minutes. Schuin onder het appartement zit een heerlijke bakker, een koffie tentje en op de hoek van de straat een leuke lunchroom. Den Haag centrum is 10 minuten fietsen of makkelijk te bereiken met de randstadrail of bus (stopt in de straat)! Naar het strand? Pak een felyx, fiets of het ov voor een heerlijk dagje Scheveningen!

Brugwachtershuisje Wijkerbrug

Geniet van dit monumentale huisje gelegen aan de Vliet, direct naast de brug. Het huisje is het woongedeelte van een voormalige boerderij, jarenlang gebruikt als brugwachters post. De brug wordt nu op afstand bediend, daarmee verloor het huisje haar functie. Nu is het een heerlijke en prachtige plek geworden om te genieten van het leven aan het water. Vanuit het huisje heeft u ruim uitzicht over de Vliet

We completely remodeled an old bakery downtown Voorburg. Lots of water to enjoy, boats to rent (Vlietlanden), Scheveningen beach around the corner! You can cycle about to Delft, Leiden, Meyendel. Not to forget our own Voorburg with boutiques, hand me downs and the fruit and vegetable market every Saturday! Best little town ever, but close to everything if you’d like to explore the region.
